Zion Union Church Maxatawny offering live Nativity on Dec. 8

Zion's Union Church Maxatawny, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, will be presenting a live Nativity 5-7:30 p.m. Dec. 8.

Shows will be every half hour with the final show at 7 p.m. Rain date is Dec. 9.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, is having a sticky bun sale Dec. 6.

Orders must be placed by Dec. 2.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave, South Whitehall Township, is having Baby and Me storytime for newborns to 1 year olds from 10:30-11 a.m. Dec. 5 and 12. Older siblings may attend.

There will be stories, songs, finger plays and more. An adult must stay with each child.

Registration is required.

Join Tina Fowler for an afternoon of holiday harp music around O'Henry's classic tale "The Gift of the Magi" 2-3 p.m. on Dec. 8. Registration for winter 2013 storytime will be 10 a.m. Dec. 10.

Teen movie night for grades seven to 12 will be 7-8:30 p.m. Dec. 11 .

Popcorn and drinks will be provided. No registration is needed.

Night at the movies will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in the township building, 4444 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall Township.

Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be having an Advent Night of Music featuring "The Joybells," Melmark's handbell choir 6 p.m. Dec. 2.

A free-will offering will be taken and given to Melmark in support of programs and services for children and young adults.

The Learning Ministries Committee is offering a live Nativity 5-7 p.m. Dec. 9 in the church pavilion.

The Christmas Story will be shared throughout the night.

Actors of all ages are needed.

Robert M. Fegely VFW Post 8282, 1522 Butz Road, Breinigsville, is cooking breakfast 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dec. 2.

Menu includes eggs, pancakes, French toast, choice of two meats, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
