Civic Theatre of Allentown is collaborating with The Film Society of Lincoln Center, Unifrance Films and Emerging Pictures in presenting the 18th edition of "Rendez-Vous with French Cinema," showcasing contemporary French film, through April 11, Civic Theatre514 and 514 N 19th St., Allentown.
The selections include new works from auteur Damien Odoul and master filmmakers Patrice Leconte and the late Claude Miller, as well as films featuring French stars like Audrey Tatou, Roman Duris and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
"Showing six of these films in the series over seven days, we realize that this rendezvous is a virtual cinematic feast for Francophiles," said Michael Traupman, Civic Theatre Managing Director.
