Benjamin O. Kuhnsman, 71, of Palmer Township, died May 27, 2013, in Easton Hospital, with his family by his side.

He and his wife Edith L. (Mapes) Kuhnsman, were married 14 years. He also was the husband of the late Diane L. (Haldeman) Kuhnsman.

Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Earl and Helen (Peters) Kuhnsman.

Before retiring in 1999, he worked at PPL, Allentown, in the computer center for 39 years.

He was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church, Cetronia, where he held many positions over the years and had been part of their bowling league.

Because of his love for hunting and fishing, he was a member of Grouse Hall, Ironton.

He was past assistant fire chief at Cetronia Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Marcy E. and her husband Mark Gerkovich of Germansville, Tracy L. and her husband Anthony Hujsa of North Whitehall Township; sister Christine, wife of Robert Smith of New Tripoli; and granddaughers Kaitlyn, Lauren, Lindsey.

He was predeceased by sisters Elinor Davies and Jean Hahn.

His service will be at 11 a.m. May 30, at Cedar Union Church, 3419 Broadway, South Whitehall.

Calling will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Union Cemetery.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the church.
