North Parkland secured the Lehigh Valley Legion regular season title and the No. 1 seed for this week's playoff tournament.

The Buffaloes went 15-3 to finish a game ahead of Southern Lehigh. They earned one of the league's two spots in the Region 2 tournament, which begins July 20 at Boyertown's Bear Stadium.

North Parkland opened the LVL's eight-team, double elimination tournament Wednesday against No. 8 seed West Allentown.

South Parkland finished the LVL season at 2-16 and missed the playoffs.

Despite the struggles this season, two Trojans were named LVL Player and Pitcher of the Week last week.

Player of the Week Hudson Rabenold went 9 for 15 with a double, two home runs, and seven RBIs over four games. His slugging percentage for the week was 1.067, which gave him an OPS of 1.667. For the season, Rabenold finished with a .568 batting average, three home runs and 15 RBIs, for an OPS of 1.574.

Pitcher of the Week Zachery Miller pitched nine innings over the week, including a complete game win over Emmaus. He gave up only one earned run and four hits while striking out nine. He posted an ERA of 0.78 for the week, with a WHIP of 0.89. Miiller finished his season with a 1.81 ERA and 1.23 WHIP, with 29 strikeouts.
