Suburban League gets under way

North and South Parkland youth football teams opened play in the Suburban-Blue Mountain Youth Football League.

NORTH PARKLAND

Varsity (140 Pounds)

North Parkland 42, Forks 27

Dominic Nelson ran in touchdowns of 60 and 45 yards. David Polanki scored on runs of 15 and 10 yards. Dylan Rahm scored on a 25-yard catch from Jake Yannes, who also ran for a 15-yard touchdown.

Junior Varsity (120 Pounds)

North Parkland 21, Forks 0

Riley Reinhard scored on a 12-yard touchdown. Josh Wieder caught the extra point pass. Luan Avdijaj scored on a 45-yard touchdown run. Will Filipovits runs in the extra point. Dalen Hartzell had a 65-yard touchdown run. Jakob Koren completes an extra point catch; his first of his career. The defense that pitched the shut out was anchored by Isiah Rico-Gray, Justin Roman and Matt Geroulo.

Pee Wee (100 Pounds)

Forks 24, North Parkland 6

Michael Bollick threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Matthew Razzis for the Buffaloes' only score.

Junior Pee Wee (80 Pounds)

North Parkland 12, Forks 6

Ben Bauman and Tre Tremba each scored on 40-yard touchdown runs for North Parkland.

Lucas Spang ran for a touchdown of 55 yards and threw two touchdowns passes, one of 35 yards to Jack Kaetzel and another of 65 yards to Cody Colarusso. Aleem Sanal scored on a 65-yard touchdown run. Preston Mertz scored from 45 yards out.
