Godfrey Nights: Godfrey Daniels closes out 2014 with a round-robin of song, led by co-founder Dave Fry. It's another "Dave's Night Out," 7 p.m. Dec. 26, this time with Anne Hills and Ilene Weiss. The fifth annual family-friendly New Year's Eve features "Three Generations of Homegrown Godfrey's": Dave Fry, above center; Dina Hall, above right, and Sam Steffen, above left, 8 p.m. Dec. 31. "Dave's Night Out" is an evening of stories, songs and banter by an eclectic trio of professional musicians hosted by, and including, Fry. Hills, a Lehigh Valley resident who tours nationally; Weiss, a New York City resident, and Fry share the stage for an informal 90-minute set with audience participation encouraged. Fry starts off New Year's Eve with a "Kid's Show" at 7 p.m. Hall honed her song-crafting on Godfrey's stage. Steffen, a Bethlehem native, started out at Godfrey's open mikes. "Carol" continues: You can still see "Celebrate Like The Dickens: A Story, A Play, A Tradition: 25 Years At Civic Theatre," on exhibit through Jan. 3, Liberty Bell Museum, 622 West Hamilton St., Allentown. The exhibition was curated by Sara Jane Brace, above, Liberty Bell Museum Manager. Two 21-foot "holiday soldiers' mark the entrance to the museum in Zion's UCC, the "Liberty Bell" church, in downtown Allentown. While there, see "Pip The Mouse Before Christmas," a holiday puppet show, through Jan. 3. Performances are 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Monday - Saturday. (no performances Dec. 25, Jan. 1). Also on display: "Pip's Wonderland," a Pennsylvania-German Christmas tree decorated by Ann Wertman and a "holiday putz" by Lehigh Valley Active Life members.
