South Whitehall police seek crash witnesses

South Whitehall police are seeking witnesses to a two-vehicle crash which occurred 7:19 a.m. April 26 in the 3500 block of Hamilton Blvd.

Police say when they arrived at the scene they found a Jeep Cherokee on its roof and a Toyota Camry with severe damage.

The female driver of the Jeep was identified as Runo Ouano of the 300 block of Linden Street, Allentown.

She had been ejected from her vehicle and was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

The female driver of the Toyota was identified as Catilin McGarry of the 50 block of Blossom Lane, Schuylkill Haven.

Police say McGarry was traveling east on Hamilton Boulevard. Ouono was traveling west along Hamilton Boulevard.

According to police, Ouano’s Jeep crossed over the center median and struck McGarry’s Toyota.

McGarry was extricated from her vehicle by Cetronia firefighters.

The accident remains under investigation and police ask anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash to call South Whitehall Police Officer Joel Wischner at 610-398-0337.
