‘Pippin’ garners 5 Freddy Awards

Parkland High school’s production of “Pippin” won five Freddy Awards May 25 during a ceremony presentation from 29 participating schools at the State Theatre, Easton.

The talented actors brought home Freddy Awards in the following categories:

·Outstanding Use of Costumes;

·Outstanding Performance by a Female Ensemble Member, Kayleigh Scott as Berthe;

·Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, Alex Atiyeh as Charlemagne;

·Outstanding Chorus; and

·Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, Reese Diaz as Pippin.
