School board tie to be decided June 2

According to information provided by Parkland School Board candidate Marc Posegay, and verified with information from the Lehigh County Voter Registration webpage, Posegay tied for fourth place with David J. Hein following an absentee ballot count after the May 16 Municipal Primary Election.

Posegay stood unofficially in fifth place with 737 votes, just two behind Hein, who had an unofficial 739 votes.

The unofficial top three vote-getters in the election at that time were Linda Perlman-McKenna with 1,275 votes; Marie Maritch with 1,016 votes and Robert M. Cohen with 988 votes.

T he tie between Posegay and Hein for a spot on the November ballot will be broken noon June 2 at the Lehigh County Government Center, 17 S. 7th St., Allentown.
