Swimmers sweep K-Kids

Parkland swept at dual meet against Northampton, with the Trojan girls winning 136-30 and the boys earning a 132-51 win.

The Parkland girls team finished first in all but one event. The Trojans’ Ally Lin (50 free, 100 breaststroke) Annie Walls (IM, butterfly) and Zoe Sheridan (200 free, 500 free) won two individual events each, while teammates Katherine Gottwald (diving) and Grace Kennedy (backstroke) won one event each. Sheridan, Lin, Walls, Kennedy, Abigail Sheridan and Megan Sicinksi were all part of two winning relay teams as Parkland girls swept the three relay events.

In the boys meet, Matthew Ceh (200 free, butterfly), James Connolly (IM, 500 free) won two events each for Parkland, while teammates Adam Kucharczuk (50 free), KoleCannon (diving) and Shawn Kusher won one event each. Ceh, Connolly, Kucharczuk and Gino DiGregory teamed up t win the 200 medley relay. Kushner, Connolly, Ceh and Kucharczuk won the 200 freestyle relay, while Sidney Webb, Kushner, DiGregory and Gavin Webb capped the meet with a Parkland victory in the 400 freestyle relay.
