The Norfolk Southern Railroad bisects the site. The largest warehouse will be located south of the railroad. The other two will be placed north of the tracks.
Commissioners took time out for an executive session during their May 16 meeting before returning at 10:08 p.m. with their roll call vote to approve the conditional use application.
A few provisions were given to the applicant.
Tractor trailers and other commercial vehicles will not be permitted to park, idle, or stack on any streets for any purpose at any time, including waiting to access the premises.
Hazardous materials may not be stored outdoors. If that becomes desired in the future, the applicant must submit written plans for public safety.
The timing of truck movements at the site need to be configured to minimize noise and light impacts on neighboring residences.
