UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP: Churches having Thanksgiving Eve services

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will be having a Christmas craft night at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 in fellowship hall.

All ages are welcome to participate. Bring favorite snacks. Beverages will be provided.

St. John’s Lutheran and St. John’s United Church of Christ will have a combined Thanksgiving Eve service 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at St. John’s Lutheran.

The Busy Bees of St. John’s UCC are having a candy sale.

Choose from milk or dark chocolate.

Orders must be received by Nov. 18.

Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will have a youth dinner and movie night for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10. The movie is “Sing.”

The church is hosting a Thanksgiving potluck to thank all veterans and church volunteers 12:30 p.m. Nov. 11.

Turkey and stuffing will be provided.

Ziegels will have a Love Fest Thanksgiving Eve service 7 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the sanctuary.

They will be sharing Moravian Love Fest buns and cider, as well as sharing all things for which they are thankful.

Upper Macungie Township is offering indoor basketball 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. until Nov. 29 for players age 21 and older at Jaindl Elementary School, 1051 Weilers Road, Breinigsville. Equipment is provided.

Pickup volleyball is being offered until April 30, 2019 for participants age 14 and older 8-10 p.m. Tuesdays at Fogelsville Elementary School, 3125 Route 100, Fogelsville.

All levels are welcome to participate.
