Police respond to possible burglary Scouts handing out food drive information

South Whitehall Township police were dispatched 7:24 p.m. Nov. 4 for suspicious activity and a possible burglary in progress in the area of the 2400 block of Coolidge St..

Responding officers determined the activity reported was not an attempted burglary but Boy Scouts distributing food drive pamphlets.

While there were varying statements provided to officers, the investigation is continuing to obtain the relevant facts of this incident, police say.
