The Friends of the Parkland Library recently hosted author Rosemary Wells for a presentation at Springhouse Middle School.

Wells, the author of more than 125 children’s books, spoke to parents and children in the auditorium about how she started writing and illustrating her Max and Ruby books.

After a book signing, there were fun games and munching on Max and Ruby treats and cupcakes.

Books were sold by Barnes and Noble Booksellers with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting the library.
