Margaret A. Baker, 89, a resident of North Whitehall Township, died peacefully March 14, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her loving and dedicated family.

She and her husband, Dale R. Baker, were married more than 64 years at the time of his death on Feb. 15.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Pavlik) Regec.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

A 1947 graduate of Catasauqua High School, she enjoyed being a volunteer at the Whitehall Township Public Library, and her membership in Whitehall AARP.

Her survivors include daughters Jo Ann Sheesley and her husband, Robert, of Breinigsville, and Carol Brandt and her husband, Don Wilderotter, of Northampton; sons Dale R. of Cicero, N.Y. and David A. and his wife, Kris Ann, of Wind Gap; grandchildren Randi and husband, Rob, Bryn and husband, Robbie, Sydney, Olivia, Sarah, Rachel, Michaelann, and Connor; and great-grandchildren Raelynn, Remy and Robert.

She was predeceased by her son Robert A. in 2011, and eight siblings.

Services officiated by the Rev. Scott J. Paradise will be 11 a.m. March 21 in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, one block south of the Fullerton Avenue exit of Route 22.

Her viewing will begin at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
