Parkland Community Library provides update on services

Friday, March 13, 2020 by The Press in Local News

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, recently provided the following update on its services through the library’s weekly Enewsletter.

According to the Enewsletter, the North Whitehall Township book drop, 3256 Levans Road, North Whitehall, is closed.

Patrons should hold items until April. If patrons must drop off items, they will need to visit another Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative Library.

All items that were borrowed by patrons at the library before its closing on Feb. 10 will have a new due date of April 2, and will not incur overdue fines.

The library is expected to begin moving its collection to the Roma Building, 1605 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., Suite 410, South Whitehall, in the middle of March.

The library is expected to reopen to the public in early April.

Programming is currently suspended but is expected to resume in April in the Roma Building.

Library patrons should not enter the South Whitehall Township campus on Walbert Avenue.
