NORTH WHITEHALL: Some events still planned

At this point in time, despite coronavirus concerns, it is expected the Miller-Keystone Blood Mobile will be set up at The Neffs National Bank 1-5 p.m. April 3.

The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, is planning on having an Easter bread (Paska) fundraiser. Loaves will be available with or without raisins, in small or large sizes.

Call Julie at 610-262-7749 by April 3 to order for pickup on April 10.


St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, is collecting clothing and housewares through April 26.

Items may include clothing and shoes, accessories such as backpacks and purses, household things made of fabric in good condition such as blankets and towels, soft toys, and hard toys no larger than 24 inches by 24 inches by 21 inches.

Place contributions in a well-tied plastic bag and deliver to the church.
