Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) has acquired the Weller Health Education Center (Weller Center). LVHN’s acquisition follows a formal RFP process initiated by the Center in 2015 to locate a potential partner with the depth and breadth of resources to sustain, expand and improve upon Weller’s intellectual property.

ArtsQuest has announced that Jane George is the new Executive Director of the ArtsQuest F6oundation. George, selected for the position following a national search, is the first full-time Executive Director in the Foundation’s history. She began her new role Dec. 4.

For the past 17 years, George, a resident of South Whitehall Township, worked for St. Luke’s University Health Network, most recently as Assistant Vice President of Government Relations & Capital Development.

House sales have declined for two months in a row in the Lehigh Valley.

Closed sales decreased 5.8 percent in October to 672 houses sold, compared to 713 houses sold in October 2016, according to the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors (GLVR) monthly report.
