Upper Macungie Township Police Department is hosting a free bicycle registration event at Earl Adams Memorial Park (Breinigsville Park), 8935 Breinigsville Road, Breinigsville, 1-4 p.m. on June 23.
This service is offered to residents of Upper Macungie Township and can be a beneficial resource in the event of a lost or stolen bicycle.
Residents interested in this service are requested to bring their bicycle to the event as officers will need to record the bicycle's serial number, affix a registration decal and photograph the bicycle.
There is no need to pre-register.

John Paul Orsini earned the rank of Eagle Scout on Dec. 18, 2012.
An Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony was celebrated with family, friends, Scouts and fellow Troop No. 150 Eagle Scout Caleb Connelly on June 2.
Orsini is the son of John Orsini and Cindy Smith.
Orsini began his Scouting career as a Bear Scout with Cub Pack No. 150 in September 2003 at St. Joseph the Worker, Orefield.
He earned his Light of Christ Roman Catholic and Parvuli Dei religious medals along with the Cub Scout Arrow of Light.

Elyse Laura Williams graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in museum studies with an art history focus during ceremonies May 18 marking Juniata College's 135th commencement.
She studied abroad in Leeds, England, and was secretary of the African American Student Alliance.
Williams is a 2009 graduate of Lehigh Valley Charter High School.
She is the daughter of Mark and Patricia Williams of Allentown.
Performance groups of the Lehigh County Senior Center will be featured 1- 3 p.m. June 11 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1533 Hamilton St., Allentown.
Groups include the Lehigh Valley Pops Orchestra, Krazy Kids, Tap Dancers and Good Vibrations Chorus.

Dorothy "Dot" E. Krumanocker, 87, of Allentown, died May 30, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem.
She was the widow of Lawrence A. Krumanocker.
Born in Fogelsville, she was a daughter of the late George P.D. and Beulah M. (Krause) Knappenberger.
She was a school bus driver for the Parkland School District for more than 10 years.
A member of St. Timothy's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, she was a Sunday School teacher and youth group leader for many years.
