Brian L. Martin, 27, from Schnecksville, died April 5, 2013, in his home.

Born April 26, 1985, in Allentown, he was the son of Lee R. and Carol K. Martin with whom he resided.

He was employed by Good Shepherd Work Services at Amerisource Bergen.

Prior to that, he worked at Walgreen's Warehouse and Fisher Clinical Service.

A member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, he was a 2003 graduate of Parkland High School.

Wayne A. Herber

Wayne A. Herber, 86, of Laurys Station, died April 8, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Twila V. (Bowman) Herber celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last Aug. 20.

Born July 17, 1926, in Weisenberg Township, he was the son of the late Warren A. and Annie L. (Frey) Herber.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

A millwright at ConAgra Inc. for 40 years, he retired in 1991.

Charles Richardson, 90, of Fogelsville, formerly of Davenport, Iowa, died April 2, 2013, in Woodland Terrace, Allentown.

Born in Evanston, Ill, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean (MacLeod) Richardson.

He was the founder and former owner of Charles Richardson Co. Inc., a manufacturer's representative company in Davenport.

He honorably and faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a second lieutenant, during World War II.

Phoebe offers workshops

St. John's United Church of Christ, in conjuction with Phoebe Home Services, is offering a series of dementia education workshops 10 a.m. April 20, and May 11 and 25, at 1027 Church St., Fogelsville.

There is a per session fee and each session will be on a different topic.

There is limited space available for 40 people per session.

Registration for the event begins at 9:30 a.m.
