LCCC nursing student

David Mueller, 31, of Schnecks-ville, died Feb. 27, 2013, in The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Born Feb. 25, 1982, in Allentown, he was the son of James P. and Susan E. (Fennell) Mueller, with whom he resided.

An insurance agent at Geico, Whitehall, he was attending Lehigh Carbon Community College working toward a nursing degree.

A graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 2000, he was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Lehigh County Triad will meet March 12, at Emeritus, 1545 Greenleaf St., Allentown.

Guest speaker will be Keith Newhard, senior driving instructor from AAA East Central.

Newhard will discuss "Keeping the Keys/Older Wiser Driver."

A free continental breakfast will be served at 8 a.m., followed by the speaker and regular meeting at 8:30 a.m.

James R. Lynch, D.D.S., 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, died peacefully Feb. 27, 2013, in Fellowship Community, Whitehall, with his loving and dedicated family constantly by his side.

Born in Titusville, to William W. Lynch of Pittsburgh and the late Martha (Madden) Lynch who died in 2006, he was the husband of Mary L. (Raymond) Lynch for 25 years, since their marriage on April 4, 1987.

Penn State Master Gardeners of Lehigh and Northampton counties have scheduled a series of classes in March and April designed especially for the home gardener.

Topics include:salsa gardening, 6:30 p.m. and culinary herbs, 7:30 p.m. March 19, Lehigh County Agricultural Center, 4184 Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall Township, and March 20, Bethlehem Township Community Center, 2900 Farmersville Road, Bethlehem, North-ampton County; lasagna gardening, at 6:30 p.m., organic gardening, 7:30 p.m. April 2, Lehigh County and April 3, Northampton County.

Marian G. Eastman

Marian G. Eastman died peacefully Feb. 23, 2013.

A daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Smith) Mengel, she was the wifeof William C. Eastman for 50 years at the time of his passing Dec. 26, 1990.

Her survivors include a daughter Judy Wolf; grandson Matthew Wolf and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by seven siblings.

Her services were private.

Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Whitehall.
