The magic returns with this year's Mayfair, which boasts a new venue, renewed focus on the arts, and a luscious and varied food menu.

Mayfair also has new hours, opening at 10 a.m. May 25, to accommodate school groups which are admitted free of charge, and concluding at 7 p.m. May 27.

Though the 27th annual Mayfair is again held over the holiday weekend and concludes Memorial Day, it opens on a Friday rather than a Thursday.

The Wailers, Bob Marley's band, presents a free concert, 5 p.m. May 27, Sands Bethlehem Event Center, in celebration of the venue's one-year anniversary.

The festival begins at noon with Flintface and A.D.D. in the Vision Bar.

The outdoor party is in the parking lot adjacent to Vision Bar and the Event Center Box Office. There's a pig roast by The Pig Pit and beer provided by Victory Brewing.

What is the name of the plant? It is important to know the normal appearance and growth habit of a plant before diagnosing problems. The perceived "problem" may be normal for this plant. Accurate plant identification is the first step in diagnosing plant problems.

Examples: Larch is a deciduous conifer and appears "dead" in winter. White pines shed inner needles profusely in autumn....

Summer weather will soon arrive. You might remember an ad, that went something like this: "Just when you think it's safe to go outdoors and enjoy the summer. ... "

Well, after successfully completing a Kickstarter campaign, Lehigh Valley native James Paul is going to Prague.

It was the start of a great weekend for Paul, a Saucon Valley High School graduate, Class of 2009, and a son of Lynne and Chad Paul. On May 12, he received a BS in Business Administration and Media Arts from American University.
