Korean War veterans who served their country honorably may be eligible for a Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Secretary of Defense, according to state Sen. Pat Browne, R-16th.
Any veteran who served in Korea between June 25, 1950 and July 27, 1953, may be eligible for this citation, which is signed by the Secretary of Defense.
There will be a dinner buffet and show "Judge Judy: The Final Verdict," a White Rose Production Nov. 3 at Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville.
Buffet at 6:30 p.m. The show starts 7:30 p.m.
The meal will be cooked and served by the Fellowship Committee.
