Charles S. Edwards, 84, of Fogelsville, died May 28, 2013, at home.
He and his wife Lucy (Sherburne) Edwards were married 55 years last June.
Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Robert and Kathryn (Schaar) Edwards.
He graduated from Penn State University and Harvard Divinity School.
He served as chaplain for three years in the U.S. Air Force.
He then received a Ph.D. from Princeton University and taught political science at Baylor University, Waco, Texas, for 18 years.
His services will be private.
Miriam M. Fry, 87, of Orefield, died May 30, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She was the wife of the late Albert M. Fry.
Born May 16, 1926, in Andreas, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Kistler and Blanche (Kemmerer) Weirbach.
She was a bookkeeper and receptionist at Atlantic Oil and Heating, Macungie, for 30 years before retiring in 1988.
She also worked part time from 1988-98 at Ross Plants and Flowers, Orefield.
Virginia E. Henninger, 88, of Topton, formerly of Kutztown and Kempton, died May 30, 2013, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
She was the widow of Osville K. Henninger who died in 1991.
Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late William and Carrie (Weller) Steffy.
She was a machine operator for the former Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, until retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run.
Dorothy "Dot" E. Krumanocker, 87, of Allentown, died May 30, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem.
She was the widow of Lawrence A. Krumanocker.
Born in Fogelsville, she was a daughter of the late George P.D. and Beulah M. (Krause) Knappenberger.
She was a school bus driver for the Parkland School District for more than 10 years.
A member of St. Timothy's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, she was a Sunday School teacher and youth group leader for many years.
Linda M. Illick, 63, of Kempton, died June 1, 2013, at her home.
She and her husband Martin D. Illick were married eight years last Sept. 18.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ralph B. and Ruth E. (Butz) Werley.
She worked at Air Products for 31 years before retiring in 2011.
A member of Ziegels Lutheran Church, Brein-igsville, she sang with the choir for many years and played the bells.
She enjoyed crafts, baking, reading and traveling.
She loved to laugh, loved her kitties and especially spending time in her yard gardening.
Leslie Suzanne-BarréGreene, 33, of Allentown, died on June 1, 2013.
She was born May 31, 1980, in Dayton, Ohio.
She attended Cathedral Elementary School and Central Catholic High School, Allentown.
She graduated from Mississippi Valley State University, magna cum laude with a degree in communications.
She is survived by her parents Dr. Jerome and Zelda "Sue" Greene; sister Alyssa and husband, Rob Mitchell; brother Jerry and wife, Erin Greene; nephews Robert and Jay; niece Camryn; and honorary brother Bruce Hale.
Benjamin O. Kuhnsman, 71, of Palmer Township, died May 27, 2013, in Easton Hospital, with his family by his side.
He and his wife Edith L. (Mapes) Kuhnsman, were married 14 years. He also was the husband of the late Diane L. (Haldeman) Kuhnsman.
Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Earl and Helen (Peters) Kuhnsman.
Before retiring in 1999, he worked at PPL, Allentown, in the computer center for 39 years.
He was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church, Cetronia, where he held many positions over the years and had been part of their bowling league.
LeRoy M. Litzenberger, 95, formerly of Orefield, died May 27, 2013, in Arden Courts, Allentown.
He was the husband of the late LaRue E. (Blose) Litzenberger.
Born Aug. 30, 1917, in Cetronia, he was the son of the late Milton G. and Stella (Lichtenwalner) Litzenberger.
A self-employed painter and paperhanger in the Lehigh Valley for 40 years, he retired in 1992.
He was a member and deacon of the Lutheran congregation of Cedar Union Church, Cetronia.
He was a member of the former Washington Grange and a former member of the Fogelsville Senior Citizens.
Hilda C. Otter, 98, of Orefield, died May 17, 2013, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.
She was the wife of the late Norman H. Otter.
Born June 30, 1914, in Beach Haven, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Ruth C. (Harter) Slusser.
She was the oldest member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield.
Alfred J. Brosius, 70, of Coplay, formerly of Mt. Carmel, died May 15, 2013, Quakertown Center.
He was the husband of the late Mary Theresa (Breslin) Brosius.
Born Sept. 21, 1942, in Ashland, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Malcolm T. Sr. and Miriam (Lane) Brosius.
Before becoming disabled, he was a licensed practical nurse at Allentown State Hospital.
His survivors include a daughter, Joan E. Brosius, at home; and brother Ted of Milford, Conn.
