The Vagabond Opera returns to the Lehigh Valley region with performances at 6 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and noon Aug. 3 on the Volksplatz stage at Musikfest, Bethlehem.
The Vagabond Opera is at the center of the neo-cabaret phenomenon. The Washington Post described the group as "a band of ceaseless charisma, boundless energy, impeccable musicianship and more than a little touch of both the naughty and exotic."

Notre Dame Summer Theatre (NDST) Director Rody Gilkeson has done a remarkable job with the Lehigh Valley debut of the Broadway version of "Les Miserables," through Aug. 3, Notre Dame High School, Bethlehem Township.
The NDST production has a huge cast of 52 and, on opening night, July 26, before what appeared to be a near sell-out audience, each member of the cast really put their heart and soul into each song and every scene.

Steve Brosky, having won 21 Lehigh Valley Music Awards, is one of the Lehigh Valley's best-known singer-songwriters.

The fifth anniversary of "Shakespeare for Kids" by Erin Sheffield at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival utilizes the story of "The Taming of the Shrew" as its basis.
